Form Teacher Guided Period ( FTGP)

We had our last FTGP of Term 1 on 7 March. The chairs were arranged in a circle as we had our Parent Network Session the day before. The children sat in a circle and we went through the rules of sharing as follows :

1. One person speaks at a time . The person who is holding the "talking piece" ( my yellow pointer)
2. To be "A" audience when another classmate is sharing

We discussed about the rules of our class and how they have help us create a good learning environment.

The class also named some of the new friends they made in 1E and why these classmates were good friends. They also had an opportunity to point our things done to them that they did not like and the pupils were given a chance to apologise to each other.

Miss Lim and I stressed to 1E that if their friends are doing something that is disturbing to them, they should tell their friends to stop (firmly). If they stop, good. If they do not, they should report it to the teachers,   We had a fruitful session that morning.
