English March Holiday Homework 2016

Dear parents and pupils,

Happy holidays!

As mentioned by Mrs Ow Yong, we have spent 10 fruitful weeks in school and it's time for a well-deserved break.

The following work was given to the pupils for English:

1. Recommended list of reading from NLB
2. Activity sheet: Different mode of transport/ vehicles ( Stellar Book: To Town )
3. Term 2 Spelling List

(The pupils can also visit the various links to revise what has been covered for English in Term 1.)

The following are kept in school for checking:

1. English Worksheet file
2. English Writing File & Jotter Book
3. English Spelling Book

The Holistic File was returned for parent's signature. The contents for English:

1. English Quiz 1
2. English Oral Reading Passage with feedback
3. English Listening Activity
4. English Writing
5. The pupil's choice of their favourite and/or best piece of English work for Term 1. ( in a clear holder)

Under Others, we have:

1. Pastoral Care activity sheets
2. PAL reflections

As mentioned during the networking session, I will also be loading the Term 1 pupils' photos this holiday according the dates of the events/ activities. ( Uploaded as at 16 March 2016: PAL Lessons 1 to 8, Chinese New Year, Total Defence Day, EDP Fame, Classroom Deco, English Classroom Activity: Show-&-Tell and Who wants to be Mrs Wishy-Washy )
