Making Number Bonds

Today we worked with link cubes to form our number bonds. We also learned a number bond song with actions .

The lyrics of the Number Bond Song is as follows :

1 and 9    10
2 and 8    10
3 and 7 make bonds of 10
4 and 6    10
5 and 5    10
Now I know my number bonds

It is important that each child know their bonds of 10  ( or Friends of 10) well as this will help them attain the Factual Fluency in addition at a later stage.

Do sing the song to your parents if you can remember it.
