National Day Celebration

Tangram Board Games

I brought in the +Venture board games that combine the fun of Snake & Ladder and Tangram for the pupils to try. They had a great time learning to complete their Tangram pictures.

I hope the children will find learning Mathematics fun too. Maths is not only about doing worksheets :)

Picture Graphs

Hi pupils ,

Here are a few things to note to help you do better for the unit on Picture Graphs :

1. The vertical Graphs should "grow" from bottom to top..NOT top to bottom.

2. Always write the number of items at the side of the graph to help you answer the questions accurately.  See the following good examples .

3. Always show workings on how you arrive at the answers for questions that need calculations. See question (d) and (e) on how the workings are shown. 

1E pupils, do continue to work hard and I am sure you will do well for the upcoming test.

Math Trail 2

On Tuesday we have our 2nd Math Trail. The trail required the pupils to complete different activities around the school ground involving length, picture graphs and addition of numbers.

Howard is counting how many Giant footprint long is the car park lot.
